Certified Administrative Professional with Organizational Management

Karen joined the administrative staff of Capacity Commercial Group in March 2021. She brings over 25 years of administrative support and property management experience to CCG. Her attention to detail, organizational skills and energetic demeanor are a necessity in managing her day-to-day workflow supporting the company. As an added benefit, Karen is an Oregon Notary. Karen loves learning new things and looks forward to broadening the scope of her industry knowledge to enhance the level of support she provides her colleagues at Capacity.

Karen has been a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) since 2008 and became a Certified Administrative Professional with Organizational Management in 2009. She was awarded the IAAP Oregon Trail Chapter Member of the Year Award in 2014 and the IAAP Member of Excellence Award in 2015. She was on the Portland Community College Computer Applications and Office Systems Advisory Board from 2016-2019. Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Secondary Teaching Certificate from Lewis and Clark College and obtained a Master’s in Education degree from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Hobbies include international travel and spending time in nature.
